About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer with SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) certification to join our facilities management team in a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing critical facilities systems, driving energy efficiency initiatives, and ensuring reliable, safe, and compliant operations across our plant infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of facilities systems including HVAC, fire systems, and cleanroom environments
  • Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, company SOPs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in line with the SCEM framework, including energy audits, reporting, and project execution.
  • Provide technical support for facility upgrades and capacity planning to support manufacturing expansion and yield improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for facilities-related incidents and system anomalies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including NEA, BCA, PUB, and relevant ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing team, different business groups, and EHS to support smooth operations.
  • Participate in emergency response and facilities crisis management activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering or a related field.
  • SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) certification is mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management within a semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), cleanroom protocols, and critical utilities infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001and energy management practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work on-call rotation and respond to off-hour emergencies if required.

  • Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
