This is Site Manager who will take long-term assignment 長期外派 for TSMC Global Account in US Arizona. Travel Rate: 90%.

Business Environment

Applied Materials AGS (Applied Global Services) Business Unit is responsible for driving our business of equipment installation and warranty extension management, as well as maintenance support, refurbishment, and upgrades. Our AGS team partners closely with key customers in Taiwan to solve manufacturing challenges and enhance equipment productivity, making us trusted business partners and contributing to consistent global revenue growth.

What You’ll Do 

Manages professional Customer Engineers in TSMC global account in AZ, and is accountable for the performance and results of a team within own job family. Adapts business unit, department, site or sub-function plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business unit, department or sub-function plan; receives guidance from manager. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall site operations and business performance for TSMC US Arizona, including customer satisfaction, P&L ownership, and budget management.
  • Act as the primary interface to the customer, ensuring alignment with TSMC expectations and Applied’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Drive timely and technically oriented responses to customer needs, and proactively develop high-value service solutions.
  • Build and maintain a capable workforce to meet current and future service requirements, with a focus on employee development and engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior business group leaders to design and implement strategies that address customer challenges and align with organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance and approval to reporting managers on long-term programs, process design, and operational improvements.
  • Define and monitor site-level performance metrics, and report progress against business unit and account-specific goals.
  • Take on a long-term assignment based in Arizona, with initial location in Taiwan.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor field service, preferably with exposure to multi-site service operations.
  • At least 5 years of people management experience, with proven ability to lead and develop multi-layered teams.
  • Prior experience working with TSMC is a plus.
  • Technical expertise in any module is welcome (e.g., PVD, CVD, ETCH, FEP, CMP, IMP, etc.).
  • Strong customer relationship skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Passionate about career development and committed to continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese communication.
