The Area Sales Manager (ASM) position at PepsiCo in Fargo, North Dakota, is a pivotal leadership role reporting to the Director or Sr. Sales Market Director. You will lead a dynamic team of Territory Sales Leads (TSLs), Sales Development Leads (SDLs), Merchandising Team Leads (MTLs), and frontline employees across two locations in the Dakota/Minnesota market. As Area Sales Manager, you will spearhead sales and merchandising excellence in your geographic area. Key duties include directing all activities to deliver on performance goals, conducting in-market work-withs to coach on selling, display execution, and merchandising standards. Establish weekly 1:1s and team meetings for clear communication, set performance and behavioral expectations, and build capabilities through hiring, training, and employee relations for hourly and salaried staff. Use data tools to set objectives, implement coaching programs, and foster a healthy labor environment with safety and mentorship.
