Position Summary
Join Sonoco as an Assembler 1 on the 2nd shift in Carrollton, GA. This entry-level role offers a pay rate of $18.62 per hour plus a $2 shift differential, working from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. You'll be responsible for assembling parts to produce high-quality products under direct supervision, contributing to our legacy of innovation in packaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Study assembly instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Gather and prepare necessary parts and tools for assembly.
- Assemble components precisely following provided instructions.
- Resolve basic assembly problems, notify supervisors for complex issues, and maintain inventory levels.
- Keep equipment and tools in excellent condition for optimal performance.
Required Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to understand and follow directions effectively.
- Basic computer skills for operational tasks.
- Strong manual dexterity for handling components.
- Comfortable working under direct supervision and handling basic issues.
