You'll offer reactive support to Shift Technicians and Operations teams during high-demand periods, forging strong links with Controls System Specialists, Electrical Duty Holders, and Reliability experts to advance preventative work orders and in-depth analysis. Expect to support specialist teams in action completion and continuous improvement, while ensuring maintenance plans, task instructions, and stores holdings are accurate. Leading CI initiatives, driving root cause analysis, and creating visual management for tasks will be key, alongside championing engineering standards and best practices site-wide.

To thrive as an Asset Care Technician, candidates need an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship backed by hands-on experience, plus a recognized electrical or mechanical academic qualification. Strong electro-mechanical knowledge is essential, alongside familiarity with CMMS and SCADA systems, and a solid grasp of equipment and technical standards. A proactive sense of ownership for safety, quality, and performance, coupled with sharp problem-solving skills and excellent communication, will set you apart.
