The Assistant Brand Manager for Lay’s in Riyadh is pivotal in executing ground-level strategic transformation for one of PepsiCo's flagship snack brands. This full-time role focuses on driving sales and share growth through rigorous planning, monitoring, and cross-functional execution. You'll champion Lay’s positioning in the anchor demand space, enhance product attributes, revamp flavor ranges, and lead innovation pipelines. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll ensure alignment with corporate governance while translating local Saudi insights into engaging gaming activations. Lead the transformation of Lay’s, including positioning as a rewarding, bold snack for solo gaming and online chatting. Oversee product attribute enhancements, flavor range revamps, and innovation pipelines while managing stakeholders for maximum impact.
Drive projects across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Manufacturing. Liaise with distributors for sales tracking, perform follow-ups, and flag gaps. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to safeguard profitability.
Monitor sales, financials, and market trends. Develop insights, benchmark competitors, and identify growth opportunities. Support annual brand and communication plans.
Manage A&M budgets, on-pack promotions, and Saudi-specific gaming activations (ad copies, POSM, packaging). Work with agencies on research, ATL/BTL executions, and approvals with authorities.
Drive flavor innovations, lift & shift opportunities, and channel-specific initiatives. Align field operations with marketing calendars and support salesforce execution.
Candidates need a graduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Prior experience in brand management, marketing, or the Food & Beverage sector is essential, with strong analytical skills for performance tracking and cost analysis. Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and local market knowledge (especially Saudi consumer behavior and gaming trends) is required. Excellent communication, project leadership, and budget management abilities are key. Familiarity with regulatory approvals and agency coordination is a plus.
