Role Overview

The Assistant Manager- HR Ops Employee Services role at PepsiCo in Howrah, West Bengal, is a pivotal position within the People Experience & Operations team.   • Lead frontline hiring by collaborating with employment exchanges, conducting screening, scheduling interviews, background checks, and pre-employment testing.
  • Coordinate onboarding for plant employees, ensuring adherence to H2O processes and completion of Day 1 and Functional Onboarding modules.
  • Manage contractual hiring in alignment with business needs and departmental requirements.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee queries on policies, benefits, payroll, schedules, and lifecycle processes.
  • Drive learning administration, including facilitation, tracking, and closure for identified employee groups.
  • Support employee engagement programs like Dil Se, Plant Days, and OHS interventions through communications and surveys.
  • Champion BU digitization efforts, particularly for Time & Attendance (T&A) via PCI and NPCI, Schoox, and myServices workflows.
  • Identify and implement digital tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with central, state, and local regulations, including AIB audits, and maintain confidential employee files.
  • Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Welfare teams for training tracking, certifications, and plant clearances.
  • Support CoE-led interventions, including performance management processes (PMP), surveys, and learning logistics.
  • Provide administrative support to plant leadership, manage reporting, and drive continuous improvement projects.
