Role Overview

The Assistant Manager LD & T (Logistics, Distribution, and Transportation) role at PepsiCo's Patiala, Punjab facility is pivotal in driving operational excellence. This position involves shift coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, managing dispatches and receivals of finished goods (FGs), and overseeing PepsiCo Quality standards including GMP and Food Safety. Key Focus Areas

From material shelf-life monitoring to export documentation and warehouse space management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), this role ensures smooth business deliveries within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), cost efficiency, and quality benchmarks. You'll interface with bottlers, quality, finance, safety, and HR teams to resolve operational issues and drive initiatives like PTR (Productivity Through Reliability) targets.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Coordinate shifts with 3PL providers for 6-day dispatches and receivals of finished goods.
• Oversee PepsiCo Quality (GMP, Food Safety), EHS, and Inventory Control processes on-site.
• Execute 10 quarterly controls testing scripts and support quality inspections for 2,500+ vehicles annually per shift.
• Manage customer orders, ensure smooth deliveries within SLA, cost, and quality parameters.
• Monitor material shelf-life, conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation plans, and lead LWT (Loss Waste Tracking) audits.
• Build a quality awareness culture through FSSC and AIB audit participation, timely CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) closure, and GMP enforcement in shipping areas.
• Maintain global control systems via documentation, auditing, and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Quality, Finance, Safety, and HR to resolve day-to-day issues.
• Coordinate with bottlers, assess needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Plan vehicle dispatches, optimize freight, process bills, and drive PTR agenda.
• Manage warehouse space with WMS, deliver KPIs (OTD, Fill Rate, CPMO, LTIR, RIR).
• Handle export documentation, Health Certificates, CHA (Customs House Agent) coordination, and bill processing.
• Prepare daily MIS, track demand vs. sales, ensure month-end closing, physical verification, expired stock disposal, and E-way bill generation.

Qualifications & Requirements
