Role Overview

CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Statutory Audit in Pune, India, to join our global finance team. This leadership role, operating on a 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift, involves driving critical month-end close processes, group reporting, and statutory audits for our international operations. You'll manage a high-performing accounting team, oversee complex financial tasks like journal entries, reconciliations, and foreign subsidiary reporting under US GAAP. Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end statutory audit processes across international entities, ensuring seamless execution.
• Prepare local GAAP compliant financial statements and serve as the primary liaison with local statutory auditors.
• Coordinate timely delivery of audit and tax requests, providing supporting reports and documentation.
• Review and tie out audited statutory financial statements with relevant documentation for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including regulatory and statistical surveys.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with corporate legal, tax, internal audit, and procurement teams.
• Prepare and maintain the statutory audit calendar and annual budget, monitoring key deliverables.
• Drive process standardization in global Record-to-Report (RTR) operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Handle other projects as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A CA or CPA qualification with 6-9 years of experience is required, including at least 3+ years in team management or supervisory roles. Big 4 audit experience is essential, alongside a strong understanding of US GAAP and International GAAP. We're looking for professionals with excellent stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a strategic mindset for problem-solving. You must be self-motivated, capable of prioritizing tasks under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are key for interacting with all levels, from remote teams to senior stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems like NetSuite is preferred. A commitment to process improvement rounds out the ideal profile.
