Role Overview

The Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management, Commercial Packaging, is a pivotal leadership role at Gilead Sciences, based in Foster City, California. This position owns the end-to-end business relationships with contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs) and direct material suppliers providing primary and secondary packaging for commercial products. • Participating in product development teams for supplier selection from development through commercialization.
• Staying abreast of supplier capabilities aligned with Gilead's pipeline in HIV, oncology, and inflammatory diseases.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have a strong foundation in pharmaceutical supply chain management. Basic qualifications include:

• Bachelor's Degree with Ten Years’ Experience, Master's Degree with Eight Years’ Experience, or PhD with Two Years’ Experience.
