Join our team in Siemens Digital Industries Software as an Associate Manager Accounting Americas and lead full-cycle accounting activities from journal entries to financial reporting, while driving process improvements and system transformation.

This position is part of the General Accounting team and reports to the Americas Head of Accounting. We are a dynamic and collaborative team that thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.


What role will you play?

  • As part of our month and quarter-end close activities, you will prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • You will leverage your technical accounting expertise to evaluate and interpret complex financial transactions, ensuring proper classification and compliance with GAAP and our internal accounting standards.
  • You will lead efforts to standardize global processes, enhance system efficiency, and strengthen our governance framework to meet both group and local reporting requirements.
  • With a passion for technology, you will support the rollout of our new SAP ERP system (S/4Hana), including user acceptance testing and data migration activities.
  • You will collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders, delivering high-quality accounting guidance that enables informed decision-making and drives operational success.

  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive work experience in a similar role, preferably a mix of tech companies and/or public accounting / CPA preferred.
  • Display solid accounting knowledge, analytical skills and good attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Showcase strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Have advanced experience with financial close and reporting systems such as SAP or NetSuite, along with proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Be excited to collaborate with our finance and business teams in the office for 2-3 days per week.

The pay range for this position is 102,500 - 184,500 annually with a target incentive of 5 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
