Position Summary

Join Sonoco's Hockenheim site as Associate Manager Field HR, RPC Germany (m/w/d) in a full-time role. Lead HR operations for Germany's RPC division, driving strategic HR initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This mid-level leadership position offers the chance to shape modern HR practices in a global matrix organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to the HR Generalist team in Germany.
• Consult with management on all HR-related topics.
• Oversee operational HR for approximately 600 employees in commercial and industrial areas, serving as the key contact for daily HR matters.
• Continuously analyze and enhance HR processes.
• Foster cooperative, solution-oriented relationships with works councils.
• Actively design effective HR processes supporting the company strategy, focusing on automation, standardization, recruiting strategies, HR KPIs, employee relations, and benefits.

Required Qualifications

• Completed degree preferably in Human Resources Management, Personnel Management, Business/Economics, or Labor Law with HR focus.
• Multi-year HR experience in global/international organizations, ideally in matrix structures.
• Strong analytical skills, structured and service-oriented approach with high quality awareness.
• Outstanding communication skills, empathy, and social competence.
• Negotiation-level proficiency in German and English.
