The Associate Manager - Finance role at PepsiCo in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a pivotal position within the Global Business Services (GBS) team. This role focuses on supporting core financial planning processes such as month-end closing, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP). You will drive automation, digitalization, and streamlining of processes to ensure timely submissions to GBS and Sector teams. Collaborating closely with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders—including Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FP&A, and Controls—you will implement robust solutions across PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA). Additionally, you will partner with IT and consulting houses for system testing, enhancements, issue escalation, and maintaining critical data linkages like sales demand to COGS volume.
This position demands a blend of financial expertise, technical acumen, and strong communication skills to bridge gaps between business and technology teams, ensuring high data quality and sustainable solutions.
Conduct thorough data validation to ensure data pipelines align with business requirements. Gain deep knowledge of data processing and transformation from various sources for the Mosaic product. Provide ad-hoc analytics, troubleshoot tools, and offer direct support to end-users.
Collaborate with business users, data engineers, product owners, and BI developers to design and implement end-to-end data solutions. Work closely with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders to support robust implementations. Partner with IT teams for system testing, enhancements, and timely issue resolution.
Escalate issues to IT and Business design teams, coordinate action plans, and ensure linkages between cubes (e.g., sales demand to COGS volume) and master data connections are accurately mapped.
To excel in this role, candidates should hold an MBA, CA, CMA, or any degree in Finance. Prior experience in financial planning, data analysis, and process automation within the food and beverage sector is highly desirable. Proficiency in tools like Excel, ERP systems, and BI platforms is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams are critical. Knowledge of data pipelines, Mosaic, or similar financial tools will be an advantage.
