Day in the Life

Here’s a glimpse into what your day might look like as a Material Processor Lead:

1. Shift Start-Up (5:30 pm): Arrive at the Lewisville facility and review the production schedule for the night. Participate in a stand-up meeting with the supervisor to discuss priorities, goals, and any potential issues.
2. Team Coordination: Assist the supervisor in allocating resources (people, supplies, products) to different workstations based on the production plan. Ensure all team members are aware of their tasks and responsibilities.

8. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members are following safety protocols and procedures. Participate in monthly 6S audits to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
9. Meeting Participation: Attend internal and external customer or vendor meetings as required. Provide updates on production performance and address any concerns or questions.
10. Shift End (4:00 am): Review the day's accomplishments with the supervisor and prepare for the next shift. Ensure that all equipment is properly shut down and that the work area is clean and organized.
