Day in the Life

As a Senior Repair Demand Planner, your day will be dynamic and engaging. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

• Morning: Start your day by reviewing the production schedule and material availability. Conduct a Clear to Build (CTB) analysis to ensure all necessary materials are on hand.
• Mid-day: Collaborate with the materials engineer to maintain and update BOM/BOR setups. Participate in the NPI process, ensuring accurate material readiness for new devices.
• Afternoon: Prepare and analyze E&O (Excess & Obsolete) reports to track and manage inventory risk. Work with operations to validate attach rates for repair parts and build forecasting tools to provide visibility into material requirements.
• Throughout the Day: You will be managing shop orders, releasing them into production, analyzing MRP recommendations while checking capacity constraints and material shortages. You will also monitor WIP and material issues, coordinating with customers to resolve shortages or identify substitutes.
