📋 Job Overview
The Lead Product Designer at Loom will drive the Core Product experiences, focusing on the end-to-end video creation journey. This role involves designing intuitive workflows, integrating AI technologies, and collaborating across teams to innovate and enhance user experiences. The position requires a design leader who thrives in ambiguity and leads with empathy and clarity.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Set a high bar for interaction, visual, and motion design
- Drive high fidelity designs with great attention to detail all the way through to delivery
- Lead design for recording, generation, and editing, making the journey seamless and AI-assisted
- Partner with the NextGen pod to rapidly explore, validate, and graduate breakthrough ideas
- Use research and data to identify friction points, reduce barriers to recording, and increase shareability and engagement
- Grow the design team’s skills, foster a culture of experimentation, and scale learnings across teams

- 8-10+ years of experience in Product Design

- High bar for craft in interaction, visual, and motion design
- Track record of shipping innovative, user-centered solutions in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
- Prototyping and validating new concepts with emerging technologies
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to inspire teams and influence at all levels
