The Senior Director, Commercial Legal - Americas Region will lead the legal team supporting Atlassian's rapidly expanding enterprise business in the Americas.   • Serve as business partner for the Americas Region leaders across all sales segments
  • Lead the Americas-based Enterprise Sales & International Operations Legal team in providing legal advice for customer-facing commercial matters
  • Support compliance in day-to-day activities in the Americas, including training and counseling sales professionals
  • Manage and develop a growing team of 14+ seasoned legal professionals

  • 3+ years of management experience with legal teams
  • In depth knowledge of commercial and contract law based on working in a law firm and/or in-house on complex technology transactions for a software and/or cloud services provider
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment, with remote, global, and cross-functional teams
  • JD from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of at least one state Bar
