Design, analyze, and optimize network components and architecture for wireless and wireline infrastructure, providing strategic planning, solution recommendations, and implementation strategies to guide capital deployment and allocation decisions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Network Design and Architecture: Develop detailed network plans and blueprints, conduct feasibility and cost studies, ensure scalability and efficiency, and recommend network planning and evolution strategies.

• Performance Analysis and Capacity Planning: Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot issues, develop and evaluate performance criteria, and analyze short-term and long-term capacity needs.

• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new and emerging technologies, recommend innovative solutions, and assess their applicability to existing network systems.

• Collaboration and Coordination: Work with internal teams and stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and determine future business and customer needs.

• Documentation and Deliverables: Maintain comprehensive documentation, ensure compliance, create guidelines and procedures, and produce management reports, business cases, and deployment plans.

Environmental Requirements:

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
