Job Description

Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

About The Company

Join AT&T and reimagine the communications and technologies that connect the world. Our Corporate Systems team is delivering innovative and reliable technology solutions to power differentiated, simplified customer experiences. Bring your bold ideas and fearless risk-taking to redefine connectivity and transform how the world shares stories and experiences that matter. When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future-you’ll create it.

About The Team:

The ASF (AT&T Business Salesforce) team is a collaborative, cross-functional group driving CRM innovation across AT&T Business. ASF supports opportunity, quote, and order flows for both direct and indirect sales channels, with the CloudRunner component specifically powering the quoting, contracting, and order management capabilities. ASF and CloudRunner are used interchangeably within the organization to describe this critical platform. The team includes architects, product managers, and developers who work together to build scalable, channel-agnostic solutions using Salesforce Communications Cloud, Vlocity, Apex, and Lightning Web Components. We integrate with enterprise systems like EDF and Pricer D to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency. Operating in an agile environment, the team is focused on automation, performance optimization, and delivering flexible CRM capabilities that align with evolving business needs and enterprise architecture standards.

What You'll Do:

As a Lead Salesforce Developer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions that power opportunity, quote, and order flows across AT&T Business channels. You’ll lead development efforts using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Communications Cloud (formerly Vlocity), with a focus on the CloudRunner component that drives quoting, contracting, and ordering functionality. Your responsibilities will include building and customizing components to support dynamic product configurations, pricing logic, and contract lifecycle automation. You’ll collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to implement integrations with enterprise systems such as EDF and Pricer D, ensuring data consistency and operational efficiency. You’ll also participate in agile ceremonies, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to the evolution of ASF as a flexible, high-performance platform aligned with AT&T’s digital transformation goals.

What You'll Need To Bring:

To succeed in this role, you’ll need deep expertise in Salesforce development, including hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Communications Cloud. You should be comfortable designing scalable, maintainable solutions within complex enterprise environments and have a solid grasp of CRM processes such as opportunity, quote, and order management. Familiarity with Vlocity tools like DataRaptors, OmniScripts, and product catalog configuration is highly desirable. Experience integrating with enterprise systems—particularly EDF, Pricer D, and the CloudRunner component of ASF—is essential. You’ll also need strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams, and the ability to align technical solutions with evolving business needs and architecture standards. A working knowledge of agile development practices, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines will be a plus.

Nice To Have:

While not required, experience with Vlocity DataRaptors, OmniScripts, and product catalog configuration will be a strong asset. Familiarity with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices is also beneficial. Candidates who bring a proactive mindset, a passion for optimizing performance, and a track record of aligning technical solutions with enterprise architecture standards will thrive in this role. Exposure to large-scale Salesforce implementations and a deep understanding of quote-to-order flows within enterprise environments will further strengthen your candidacy.

Preferred Tools and Technologies:

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Salesforce development using Apex and Lightning Web Components, with hands-on experience in Communications Cloud (formerly Vlocity). Familiarity with Vlocity tools such as DataRaptors, OmniScripts, and product catalog configuration is highly valued. Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems like EDF, Pricer D, and the CloudRunner component of ASF is essential. Exposure to agile development environments, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines will be beneficial, along with a strong understanding of scalable architecture and performance optimization within complex CRM ecosystems.
