AT&T is hiring to support a US Government Program that provides IT Services to US Strategic Command located in Omaha Nebraska.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Apply digital mission engineering techniques to trace and integrate existing DoD and industry capability architectures into USSTRATCOM’s Enterprise Architecture (EA).
  • Provide Tactical Data Link (TDL) support and design/engineer highly complex IT infrastructures.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Design systems architecture for new or existing computer systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Perform complex systems development and design tasks, including logic design, I/O design, model formulation, computer architecture analysis, and digital systems engineering.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency in production environments.
  • Provide critical insight and guidance for preparing and maintaining documentation related to engineering processes and procedures.
  • Implement, manage, and enhance Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline tools to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Perform shift work to provide continuous 7x24 coverage and cybersecurity support.

Additional Clearance Requirements:

Can start with a TS (#topsecret)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Computer Science.
  • 10+ years of systems architecture and engineering experience supporting Government IT programs.
  • At least one of the following certifications: Security+, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, or CSSLP.

Desired Qualifications:

  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • Experience applying digital mission engineering in DoD or similar environments.
  • Expertise in designing and supporting highly complex, secure IT infrastructures.
  • Hands-on experience with TDL and integration into enterprise architectures.
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
  • Strong analytical skills in systems design, logic design, I/O modeling, and digital systems engineering.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive engineering documentation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with government IT compliance standards, security best practices, and project management methodologies.

Our System Engineer's earn between $78,800 - $136,885. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
