AutoZone’s Internship Program is designed to give students a challenging, hands-on experience in the corporate retail industry.
 
What our Top 100 Internship Program Offers: 
 

•    Spring Semester Part-Time Internship between March 2 – May 29, 2026
•    Summer Semester Full-Time Internship between June 1 – August 7, 2026
•    Valuable Work Experience (20 – 30 hours per week during Spring; 40 hours per week during Summer)
•    Realistic, Meaningful Job Preview
•    Cross-functional Job Shadowing
•    Professional and Personal Development Workshops
•    Networking and Community Service Events
•    1-on-1 Mentorship Program

Responsibilities

As an intern, you will engage in meaningful projects that support AutoZone’s operations, gain insights into the inner workings of a leading automotive parts retailer, and develop professional skills through shadowing experiences and one-on-one mentorship. This program is designed to enhance your academic knowledge with practical application, preparing you for a successful career in your chosen field.

Qualifications

Majors we are Searching for:

  • Human Resources 
  • Business Administration
  • Management
  • Public Relations

School requirements:

  • Must be a current rising Junior, Senior or Masters student enrolled into a college or university at the time of Spring and Summer Semesters 2026 Internship Program (March 2 – August 7, 2026)
    • Intern must be attending classes while working as an intern for the Spring and Summer Semester.
    • Those who graduate prior to the internship ending do not qualify to participate.

Job requirements: 

  • Ability to work 20 – 30 hours per week in the Spring and 40 hours per week in the Summer
  • Must be able to live in Memphis or adjacent counties for the duration of the internship and be fully in person at work during the internship.
  • Proficiency in event planning, Canva, and leadership skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and SharePoint is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to different project teams, tasks, departments
  • Prior internship experience is preferred.
