This role involves frequent travel and building strong relationships with employees at all levels. Responsibilities
- Oversee HR Functions: Manage staffing, training, scheduling, and employee relations for regional stores.
- Customer Service and Diversity: Ensure that stores meet customer service requirements and diversity standards.
- Talent Acquisition: Support initiatives in recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and training high-caliber store personnel.
- Professional Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, military job placement centers, and employment agencies.
- Risk & Safety Management: Monitor and assist in managing risk and safety activities.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Advisory Role: Advise the Regional Manager on HR-related matters and help develop annual business plans.
- Investigations: Investigate complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in multi-unit/field HR management, preferably in the retail industry, managing HR functions for a company with 200+ employees.
- Skills: Strong selling, coaching, training, customer service, and communication skills.
- Talent Development: Ability to assess and develop talent.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, prioritization, delegation, and organizational skills.
- Leadership: Ability to motivate and lead functional teams to deliver results.
You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS).
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM Certification is a plus.
