Description

• Analyze and plan material needs to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Monitor reorder points to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Daily review to release PR/PO.
• Work with GPD and Sales to identify risks related to material changes and address inventory reserves.
• Plan and manage material movement in coordination with purchasing, warehousing, and production, including negotiating lead times with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, ETA update for PD confirmation.
• Working with Sales/Finance to analyze forecast abnormalities.
•  Cooperating with material planner in other AD sites (and global supply chain team) to share/buying excess stock.
• Provide information to determine status of current orders and to forecast needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree. 1-3 years in material planning or related experience.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented. 
• Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
• Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion. 
• Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees. 
• General Materials Management, and Logistics knowledge.
• Familiarity in process documentation and improvement.
• Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and function specific software.
