ABOUT YOUR ROLE 职位描述

NPI engineer drive the new proudct from development stage to high volume production, excute the Design for Manufacuring (DFM) concept through all new project from NPD/CPD. Perform continual improvements program to reduce costs and increase efficency in the converting operations. Work with process and maintenance team to fully support business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE 工作职责:

• Develop and implement processes, methods, tooling, and machine modifications for Inlay manufacturing.
• Introduce leading products from development stage to mass production.
• Provide clear information to process and maintenance and production team to assure NPI and MP.
• Work with cross functional teams to qualify the material, process and equipment, ensure all of critical factors qualfied before mass production.
• Actively pursue opportunities to continually improve the processes that increase quality, throughput , and reduce cost , by utilizing lean/sigma tools.
• Provide on-machine expertise to operators and technicians to ensure manufacturing capabilities and capacity meet delivery and performance targets.
• Provide training and technical support to strap attach and converting operations.
• Develop test methods for qualifying new products, materials and processing procedures.
• Motivate others to accept process changes, sustain them, and take ownership of them.
• Other work assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must have Bonding/SMT experience in a manufacturing environment, RFID background is prefered.
• Good experience on new product qualification and product management.
• Oral and written English skill.
• Firsthand experience with Muehlbauer machines is an advantage.
• Certification in improvement processes is preferred (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
• Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.
• Willingness to work with all levels of operational and professional staff across all shifts.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and projects over a wide range of priorities to completion.
