About the Role:

As Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing environment, ensuring we meet production, quality, and cost objectives. You'll be a key member of our leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Direct day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production and quality standards.
    • Drive site improvement plans, set operational goals, and remove obstacles to success.
    • Maintain strict EHS standards and promote a safety-first culture.
    • Manage inventory, distribution, and equipment maintenance.
    • Implement ISO 9000 procedures.
  • Team Development & Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
    • Conduct performance appraisals, provide feedback, and ensure goal completion.
    • Attract and retain top talent.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Analyze data for long-term strategic planning and improvement.
    • Lead significant projects and improvement initiatives, including budgeting and scheduling.
    • Implement operational improvement strategies for safety, cost, quality, and efficiency.
    • Maintain maximum efficiency for facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive Operations Management experience, including team leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams through clear communication.
  • Strong understanding of modern manufacturing practices and improvement strategies (e.g., ELS).
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with project management and budgeting.
  • Strong command of English (essential); Dutch language skills (advantage).
  • Willingness to travel (10%).
  • Knowledge of the printing and fulfillment industry is preferred.
