Description

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (not limited to):

• Provide technical support for PM ASEAN business, especially focusing on industry tapes application in automotive, electronics and general industry segments

• Technically support the commercial team for existing/new customer and/or new application development with existing/new products. 

• Interact with customers during project definition through customer trials and to commercialization

• Initiate lab testing, determine test protocol and provide reports to customers for different applications 

• Provide process support to customers for tape laminating, die cutting, and part application

• Support quality team for complaint handling and on-site customer trouble shooting

• Scope opportunities for potential new products with customers and sales 

• Analyze the market trends and competitions, support commercial team to identify the unmet needs of the market, work with market team for new technologies/products road mapping.

• Support R&D to identify new product development opportunities, collect and understand customer requirements, and translate to CTQs, work with R&D and market teams for new product launch

• Work with product management team to act as technical project leader for outsourced solutions on assigned projects for ASEAN.   

• Provide technical and application trainings internally and externally

• Follow the company EHS regulations, process and SOP instructions.  Complete EHS training and pass the evaluation before on-boarding.

• Preferred to have knowledge on ISO 9001, IATF 16949. Familiar with APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA and SPC

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

• Bachelor degree above,  preferably with a background in polymer science or other related discipline

• At least 8 years working experience in adhesive, PSA tape/label, coating related industries experience would be preferred.

• Good communication skill for both internal and external

• Working proactively and good teamwork spirit

• Excellent command of English & Chinese

• Expected travel is 50% of time
