Description

• Responsible for new product solution development to meet customer needs, articulate the product value proposition and differentiation.

• Responsible for leading R&D projects from ideation stage to post launch stage, and provide technical support in the  entire product lifecycle.

• Responsible for working with technology platforms across multiple divisions and multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region, to design and develop new products and solutions.

• Responsible for working with commercial business development team and sales team to understand industry and applications, as well as identify , screen and consolidate real innovation opportunities.

• Work with operation, procurement and other functions to do new material qualifications and new production feasibility studies

• Work with different functions to deliver business growth results timely, mainly focus on speciality or high value category projects.

• Work with global technical experts to build technical communication and network, solve critical technical problems.

Qualifications

• Master degree or above, engineering or chemical science, material science related degree.

• +5 years related work experience in new product development, new applications development, or new process improvement.  Excellent project management skills, PMP certification will be a plus.

• Understanding of film/paper etc products will be preferred and knowledge about labels and packaging will be a plus.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional groups as well as suppliers / customers to define and execute overall requirements and continuously evolve our product portfolio to form technical advantages in the industry.

• Business acumen, execution through the innovation process and delivering the results as planned.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to use AI/digital tools in daily work.

• Good command of English both in oral and written.
