IFRS17 Valuation | • Prepares the relevant monthly valuation reports under the IFRS17 framework | • Expense loadings reporting • Claims gain/loss analysis • Profitability analysis on short-term products | • Dependency on the data from other departments (i.e., IT, Financial Control and Accounting) • Coordination with modeling team to determine soundness of financial projections |
Strategic Planning | • Adapts the BAU financial reporting for strategic planning and forecasting purposes | • Financial projections (e.g., strategic plan projections, forecasting) | • Dependency on inputs from various departments, as very critical to the resulting quality and timeliness of the Strategic Plan results. • Ensuring that there are no significant gaps in the model that could affect the projections and that the assumptions are consistent with the latest approved assumptions. |
