Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze data and results to provide meaningful explanations of results and trends and provide recommendations that are relevant to the business
  • Build and maintain pricing models with baseline result and sensitivity testing
  • Prepare actuarial reports and results in appropriate form for stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other actuarial and technical (e.g. investment) teams on assumptions, methodology and information required
  • Manage experience studies
  • Assist in reviewing product materials from pricing perspective
  • Review work of junior staff for consistency, reasonableness, comprehensiveness and suitability for purpose
  • Provide ad-hoc support in line with team priorities
  • Support the Senior Actuarial Manager in handling reinsurance arrangements
  • Propose and implement improvements to regular pricing process, analyses, reports and documentation
  • Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methodology and financial results

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in the life insurance industry
  • Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Senior Actuarial Analyst

600,000 - 900,000 HKD / yearly
