JOB DESCRIPTION

The role will be responsible for end-to-end preparation, management, and execution of Distribution events and trips, coordinating with key stakeholders in order to provide good Distributor experience.

KEY TASKS:

  • Handles the end-to-end execution of assigned events and trips, from raising of budget to coordination with suppliers, booking of flights and accommodation, and providing on-the-day support to all attendees and delegates. 

  • Manages the budget and timeline for assigned events and trips, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure that there is sufficient budget to execute a good event/trip and making necessary adjustments to meet the needs of Distributors.

  • Coordinates with relevant teams to ensure events and trips are executed well:

    • Works with channels to help execute the program
    • Coordinates with Marketing for communication support to assigned events
    • Closely collaborates with Budget and Finance teams to ensure sufficient funding for each event and trip
    • Manages suppliers to deliver event and trip requirements in the most efficient manner
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Preferably with 5+ years of experience in a similar role in the insurance or financial services
  • Excellence in the following skills:
    • Strong management skills (project management and events management) 
    • Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, multi-tasking, and problem-solving capabilities 
    • Superior interpersonal & communication skills
    • Ability to set a vision, follow through, and execute - must have bias for action
    • Good at tracking and monitoring, planning and organization
    • Excellent ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders 
    • Demonstrates attention to detail
