MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Sustainability Manager will play a key role in advancing AXA PH’s sustainability objectives by supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies and initiatives.

 

The role will also assist in managing the administrative and operational functions of the Sustainability Committee.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Support the Head of Sustainability in the design, execution, and monitoring of corporate sustainability strategies and action plans.
  2. Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce environmental impacts and improve sustainable business practices across operations.
  3. Serve as a working secretariat for the Sustainability Committee, including preparation of materials, coordination of meetings, and documentation of decisions and action items.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to implement sustainability initiatives.
  5. Develop and track sustainability metrics, preparing regular reports for internal stakeholders and external disclosures (e.g. AESI for the Group, GT Capital)
  6. Assist in sustainability-related compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and best practices (local and international)
  7. Contribute to the communication and promotion of sustainability efforts within the Company through campaigns, trainings, and employee engagement programs.
  8. Conduct research and benchmarking on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in sustainability.
  9. Support the development of ESG-related policies, guidelines, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

a.      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Environmental Science, Social Science or any related field.

b.      Strong project management and organizational skills

c.       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate across departments.

d.      Knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks is an advantage

e.      Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and passion for sustainability
