Join us as a Senior PeopleSoft Technical Lead and drive innovative solutions for a global leader in financial protection.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the delivery of PeopleSoft solutions, including developments, configurations, and integrations, working closely with Architecture, Functional, and Testing teams.
  • Define and oversee the overall integration architecture and technical design.
  • Review and validate solution and technical designs to ensure compatibility and adherence to best practices.
  • Research and resolve complex technical issues involving multiple systems and integrations.
  • Act as a technical leader for a squad of 5 to 10 team members, supporting both BAU and project work.
  • Support the Product Manager in defining project roadmaps, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Promote and facilitate Agile rituals within the squad.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with AXA Partner’s architecture and security standards.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor team velocity and quality, implementing necessary improvement actions.
  • Approve solutions as technically fit for deployment, ensuring high quality and security.
  • Act as Data Custodian for the application, supporting data governance initiatives.
  • Perform hands-on technical tasks such as development, code reviews, incident resolution, and testing when required.

What you’ll bring:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance modules (AP, AR, Billing, GL, CM) and PeopleTools.
  • Experience in REST API development and Swagger.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and relational database management.
  • Proven experience in PeopleSoft migration, upgrades, and administration.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server administration.
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintenance of live applications.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into system and user solutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Focus on delivering secure, high-quality code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Capable of working with both local and remote teams.
  • Strong customer focus and adaptability to change.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
