We’ve got a new opportunity for a Risk and Service Modelling Analyst to join us. You’ll deliver high quality technically robust data and analytics using Databricks, Python and GIT. You’ll be responsible for designing and building scalable data models, writing efficient code and delivering optimised datasets related to key service, operations and complaints metrics or key risk and conduct metrics. You’ll combine your strong data engineering skills with clear data storytelling to meet the business needs.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you’ll doing:

  • Design, build, maintain and optimise data pipelines and models in Databricks using Python
  • Collaborate closely with Risk Visualisation Analysts to ensure models are usable and effective and structured for reporting and insight
  • Ensure data processes meets the technical standards, coding best practices, reconciliation validations and version control procedures of the Data Insights team
  • Develop expertise in risk and conduct related data 
  • Work to relevant timescales to ensure the delivery of reporting in a timely manner
  • Use DevOps boards, repositories and pipelines to manage and track work items, using GIT for version control
  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements under guidance of senior team members
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies to continuously develop technical and analytical skills and stay up to date with developments in analytics, cloud tooling, industry best practices and emerging technologies
