Responsibilities:

• Work on the regular production of participating fund valuation and dividend recommendation
• Report and analyse P&L, manage and ensure the capital adequacy of participating fund
• Provide expert support and detailed analyses to help both internal and external stakeholders in different aspects of the participating fund management, such as operation, new product design, any new initiative and financial reporting of participating business
• Work on the regular production of reinsurance accounts and data for various reporting
• Perform controls on data quality and consistency across reinsurance and direct business cash flows
• Provide support on regular review of reinsurance policy and any ad hoc reinsurance needs, such as potential facultative arrangement
• Ensure compliance to regulations and guidelines
• Identify and implement process improvement
• Maintain proper documentation of data, controls, methodology and processes

Qualifications:

• University graduate in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines
• 3 or more years' experience in life insurance industry
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player
• Good command of English, both in written and spoken form
• Prior experience in valuation and use of Prophet / Alteryx is an advantage
