YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
The headquarters of the AXA Group (GIE AXA) brings together our corporate activities. It provides guidance and support to subsidiaries around the world, to ensure the coordination and monitoring of the Group's global strategy, the application of its standards, the consistency of commercial approaches and the sharing of best practices. Within the Group, you will join the Group Underwriting Officer (GUO), more precisely the Technical Accounting team of Group Ceded Reinsurance.
Within "Operations", the "Reinsurance Accounting & Administration" service is organized into 2 geographical hubs and one cross-functional hub. Each geographical hub is responsible for the administrative, accounting, and financial management of the P&C and Life reinsurance portfolios within its scope.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Main purpose:
- Ensure all administrative, accounting, and financial operations related to the management of reinsurance portfolios in compliance with procedures and deadlines
- Contact for accounting and financial matters related to reinsurance portfolios of his/her scope
Main tasks :
- In relation with the underwriting team, receive and record contractual data.
- Carry out the monitoring, verification, and accounting of the reinsurance accounts received from cedants in the dedicated IT system, ensuring the consistency and compliance of the information with contractual conditions.
- Produce and transmit the reinsurance accounts of (retro)cession.
- Ensure the management of payments, the financial monitoring of third parties, and the smooth conduct of cash exchanges.
YOUR PROFILE
- Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance concepts and 3-4 years of experience in an insurance/reinsurance technical accounting department
- Proficiency in English both orally and in writing
- Ease of use of computer tools and proficiency in data management in computer systems
- Autonomy, rigor, proactivity, good communication skills
