As an Azure Endpoint/Automation Engineer at Ford, you'll be at the forefront of endpoint management, ensuring thousands of Windows, iOS, and Android devices remain healthy, secure, and productive. This role bridges Microsoft Intune, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL, and Power BI, transforming raw telemetry data into actionable insights that preempt issues. Based in Dearborn, MI, you'll contribute to Ford's enterprise-scale IT operations, leveraging cloud-native tools to automate and optimize device fleets in the fast-paced automotive sector.
Design and implement integrations between Intune and Azure Monitor/Log Analytics to capture real-time device telemetry. Use KQL to query vast datasets, detecting anomalies before they escalate into user disruptions.
Create dynamic Power BI reports and dashboards that provide visibility into endpoint health, compliance status, and performance trends, empowering IT teams with data-driven decisions.
Develop automation scripts and logic apps to trigger remediation actions, such as policy updates or device quarantines, minimizing downtime across Ford's global workforce.
Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to refine endpoint strategies. Continuously optimize processes to support Ford's hybrid work environment and mobile workforce.
Analyze patterns in device data to forecast and prevent common issues, ensuring seamless productivity for engineers, designers, and executives driving Ford's innovation.
To excel in this role, candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Azure endpoint solutions. Key requirements include:
