Role Overview

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Azure Network Analyst to join our Infrastructure Delivery team in Carrigaline, Cork, Ireland, on a fixed-term contract of up to 24 months. This pivotal role supports the migration of our existing on-premise SAP environment to Microsoft Azure, contributing to the design of the target environment and creating detailed build documentation for the implementation team. Internally titled Global Workplace Svcs Analyst, this position offers hands-on involvement in enterprise-scale cloud transformation within a dynamic, secure environment. Ideal for Azure networking experts passionate about SAP migrations and network security.

Key Focus Areas

You will design and implement secure network configurations, including Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Palo Alto firewall rules, while ensuring alignment with PepsiCo's global standards. This is a temporary contract role offering immediate impact on a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities

As an Azure Network Analyst at PepsiCo, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of the on-premise SAP environment migration to Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to design robust Azure infrastructure and producing comprehensive build documents for the delivery team.
• Designing and implementing Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Palo Alto firewall rules in a complex, secure enterprise environment.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to align design, security, and operational requirements.
• Ensuring all designs comply with enterprise security standards and Azure best practices.
• Providing expert guidance during build and deployment phases, troubleshooting design-related issues, and optimizing performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure architecture, especially for enterprise-scale migrations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP environments and their specific infrastructure requirements.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing NSGs and Palo Alto firewall rules.

• Proven ability to create clear, detailed technical documentation for build teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for large delivery teams.

Desirable skills include Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-120, AZ-305), Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE), experience with Azure networking services like VNETs, VPN Gateways, and ExpressRoute, knowledge of SAP on Azure reference architectures, automation tools such as Terraform or PowerShell, and Linux administration skills.
