Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer III on the Falcon NG-SIEM Global Serverless Platform team, you'll join a distributed group of collaborative engineers in New York, NY (hybrid role). This team builds and operates global- and region-level automation for the industry's largest event data store and search system, scaling to hundreds of petabytes of data ingress daily while upholding best-in-class ingest, search, detection SLAs, and cost efficiency. Own the regional control plane, account provisioning, and integrations with the Falcon platform. Tackle hard engineering problems, become a control plane expert, and drive a zero-touch, self-service data plane vision across 400k CPU cores for optimal hardware utilization and high availability.

Key Technologies and Focus

Work with Golang for control plane development, large-scale distributed systems, and internal asset storages. Ensure platform efficiency, reliability, and stability through automated testing, monitoring, and production observability—no handoffs to ops teams here.
