Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer III - Cloud on the Falcon Risk Platform team in Bangalore, India, you'll design and build the foundational risk platform powering industry-leading cybersecurity solutions. Work with Golang, microservices, and diverse databases to deliver risk visibility, management, and prioritization. Our globally distributed, fault-tolerant cloud ecosystem integrates risks from CrowdStrike providers and third parties, offering a single pane of glass for organizational risks within Falcon Exposure Management.

Key Technologies

Engage with cutting-edge tech like Golang (training provided), AWS/Azure/GCP, RDBMS/SQL, NoSQL, Redis, and data pipelines. No prior security experience required—we mentor on cybersecurity topics. Drive end-to-end product delivery as a technical leader.

Key Responsibilities

Lead backend architecture for scalable services supporting internal and customer-facing apps, focusing on performance, reliability, and security. Develop APIs, microservices, and data pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps on cloud infrastructure for scalability and high availability. Design database solutions ensuring data consistency and compliance. Troubleshoot complex systems, optimize performance, and implement monitoring. Provide technical leadership, mentor juniors, and partner with UX/UI, Sensors teams for integrated solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Seeking hands-on engineers with 5+ years in backend development, expertise in distributed systems at scale, and cloud platforms. Proficiency in programming (Golang a plus), APIs, microservices, databases (SQL/NoSQL/Redis), and automation scripting. Strong troubleshooting skills for performance issues. Excellent collaboration and leadership abilities. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
