  • Participate in problem identification and analysis

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and/ or hybrid working.

About YOU

  • Demonstrated experience working as a mechanical engineer or significant experience working in a mechanical trade role
  • Experience in maritime, defence, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to work on-site in shipyard or dockyard environments, including onboard naval vessels
  • Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations

We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don’t tick all the boxes. If this role interests you, but you don’t meet all the criteria, we still encourage you to apply.
