About the OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for multiple Stores Persons based at RAAF BASE Williamtown. As a Storesperson you will be responsible for supply and logistics operations in accordance with company standard and procedures and any respective customer service agreement/s.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Unload and load consignments – forklift operations.
  • Receive, inspect and receipting of incoming goods and materials.
  • Picking, packing and dispatch of materials to operational areas.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calibrations.
  • Manage hazardous chemicals.
  • Comply with WHS requirements, including manual handling and forklift operations.
  • Ensure correct storage, handling and labelling of materials in accordance with procedures.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with discrepancy investigations.

About YOU

  • Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Essential).
  • Forklift License LF/LO (Essential)
  • Ability to undertake a B shift (if required).
  • Understanding of ITAR requirements.
  • Knowledge of SAP based programs.
  • Excellent excel knowledge.
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) (desirable).
  • Dangerous Goods qualifications, (desirable).
  • Cert II, III or IV in Transport and Logistics (preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to undertake physical demanding tasks. Tasks may include standing for long periods of time, undertaking repetitive motions, lifting between 16-20kg safely, engaging in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling Items.
