Location Overview:

Overlooking the spectacular Iveagh Gardens with access to all amenities in the beating heart of central Dublin is our Park Place office. Travel options include the LUAS, Dublin Bus networks as well as the Dublin Bikes station, positioned just outside our front doors. Responsibilities

This job is responsible for independently performing test work covering the Enterprise Support Function Lines of Business (LOBs), including, amongst others, Human Resources, Payroll, Third Party Management, Legal, Compliance and Operational Risk. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executes audit strategy for the sound application of risk-based auditing by defining audit scope and audit programs, and leverages automation and innovative methods in a timely and high quality manner
  • Exercises sound knowledge of product, business, and technical expertise to effectively challenge management to improve the control environment
  • Assesses impacts to business processes, controls, and strategies to provide recommendations on severity ratings
  • Provides input on draft audit reports and shares audit results with business leaders
  • Supports the development of peers and teams through on-the-job-training and fosters an inclusive work environment
  • Establishes business partner relationships, primarily with line management, to develop business knowledge
  • Managing and coaching more junior staff on audit jobs
  • Uses innovative tools to complete audit activities more efficiently (e.g., testing)
  • Serve as auditor in charge leading audit engagements
  • Conduct issue validation for both internal and regulatory issues

Required Experience:

  • Prior Internal/External Audit experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Critical Thinking
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build effective working relationships.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on solutions and a strong awareness of risk.
  • Clear and confident communicator, capable of presenting complex issues and findings to senior stakeholders.
