Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team in Sweden. In this role, you will contribute to improving patient safety and hospital efficiency by driving sales of innovative solutions in infusion treatments and medication dispensing. You will develop strong partnerships across hospitals and pharmacies, working with professionals such as pharmacists, nurses, IT teams, and biomedical engineers to deliver meaningful outcomes.
This field position plays a key role in identifying new opportunities, shaping tailored solutions, and achieving growth targets for a newly released product with huge potential. You will be required to travel extensively, up to 70% of your time, across Sweden. Overnight stays may be necessary depending on your location and territory planning. We welcome applicants from anywhere in the country, provided you are well-positioned for frequent travel. While we are flexible on location, Gothenburg is one of our preferred areas..

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans in alignment with the regional sales strategy.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with colleagues in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Solution Design.
  • Drive revenue growth through a consultative, customer-centred approach using the BD Way of Selling and Salesforce CRM.
  • Manage complex, multi-account agreements with a strategic approach.
  • Convert MMS solution opportunities into successful sales outcomes that enhance hospital performance and patient safety.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
  • Continuously share insights and findings to strengthen team performance.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting within Salesforce.

About you:

  • Proven experience in sales or account management within medical devices.
  • Proven success in solution-based or consultative selling.
  • Experience navigating tender process.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience or knowledge of Healthcare IT, ICT, medication management or wireless communication is an advantage. Clinical background is also an advantage.
  • Degree in pharmacy or a related field is desirable.
  • Driving license
