Performs CAD drafting duties on tooling design, fixturing, equipment build and electrical schematics in support of Engineering activities for Process Development Center (PDC)
Essential Job Functions
- Perform basic redline reviews, Update basic CAD drawings per Engineering Change Requests (ECR) through PDM (Product Data Management) system for PDC in collaboration with team members
- Convert/Modify basic sketches or marked-up prints into engineering drawings utilizing CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo) in accordance with process and procedures for PDC
- Provide routine R&D engineering support from Design, Fabrication/Rapid Prototyping, Engineering Studies to Equipment Troubleshooting on projects within PDC under supervision of other team members and/or stakeholders
Required Skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
- Experience with Rapid Prototyping will be advantageous preferred
- Able to operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing will be advantageous
- Experience in reading, interpreting, and creating of CAD drawings and electrical schematic
- Proficient in Solidworks is a must.required; Will be advantageous with eExperience on Creo, AutoCAD, CAD PDM preferred
- Proficient in drafting principles, techniques and procedures
