Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex inquiries on benefits like medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, and 401(k), ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee onboarding, changes, terminations, and retirement processes with accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of company-wide wellbeing initiatives focused on physical, mental, and financial health.
  • Manage annual health fairs, wellness events, and the ongoing wellness calendar.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy, partnering with Corporate Communications for clear, engaging messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Belonging team to integrate initiatives that reinforce Choice Hotels' 'Make It Your Choice' brand.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations including HIPAA, PPACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and Section 125.
  • Manage relationships with benefits and wellness vendors, monitoring service levels.

Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed, candidates need:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, communications, and/or wellbeing program management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects and leading initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits regulations and best practices.
