Role Overview

The BI Engineering Manager - Digital Commerce role in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, is a pivotal leadership position within PepsiCo's Global Digital Commerce Team. This role focuses on leading a BI Engineering team to deliver the international Data Product roadmap across four regions. As a hands-on technical leader, you will embed your expertise across a global, distributed team, working alongside engineers in various domains to power Digital Commerce growth. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will own the delivery and execution of BI front-ends, manage team workloads, and foster engineering excellence. Specific responsibilities include:

• Partnering with Data Product Managers to create realistic technical plans, participate in feedback sessions, and maintain clear workflows for new builds and maintenance.
• Overseeing end-to-end delivery of Business Intelligence solutions across regional pods for on-time, high-quality execution.
• Coordinating with Data Engineering teams to ensure data availability and alignment on modeling for visualizations.
• Serving as a hands-on technical lead, building reports, reviewing work, and defining report hierarchy frameworks for coherent reporting across sub-channels, markets, regions, and global levels.
• Championing the shift to governed analytical layers, staying ahead in AI for BI strategies, and representing BI Engineering in cross-functional forums.
• Establishing BI engineering culture, including standards for SLAs, version control, documentation, testing, logical flows, drill-paths, and visual identity to maximize reusability.
• Defining design-to-development processes for seamless handoffs and leading talent development through coaching, upskilling, and career growth pathways.

Qualifications & Requirements
