BlackRock SMA Solutions helps clients customize portfolios for unique tax, values-alignment, or investment exposures across direct indexing, fixed income, active equity, and multi-asset. We deliver world-class service to all our clients, from wealth advisors to family offices to endowments and foundations. We are rapidly growing and seeking SMA Operations Analysts. This role will have the opportunity to influence significant change and create a lasting impact. The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong operations problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.

Client Onboarding - Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding of new SMA client accounts within BlackRock’s retail channels
  • Accurate and timely responses to all requests coming into the SMA New Accounts Onboarding team from internal partners & external clients
  • Collaborate with sales and relationship teams to clarify business requirements for successful client onboarding
  • Foster positive relationships with our internal collaborators (Sales, Portfolio Managers) by actively listening to their needs and consistently delivering results for the firm
  • Manage time between day-to-day responsibilities and project involvement.
  • Liaise with senior management in weekly/monthly meetings

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated 1-3+ years of experience/knowledge with financial investing and wealth management
  • Experience directly or indirectly supporting Retail & Institutional clients
  • Technical skills in several of the following are a plus: JavaScript, Python, SQL, and VBA
  • Knowledge BLK Aladdin, Salesforce, and accounting systems is a plus
  • Self-motivated, creative thinker with a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
