Job Duties: Works within the Web Tech Engineering Team. Responsible for providing a solid software technology platform serving 134 public-facing websites of the company under the blackrock.com and ishares.com domains. Design, code, test, and support reliable, robust software applications and services with high quality standards. Participate in multi-functional feature requirements gathering, design, and implementation. Collaborate with product management on right units of work to include in each development sprint. Perform code reviews and provide timely feedback to other engineers. Serve as a role model and mentor to junior developers.

Qualifications: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 12 months of experience in job offered or closely related role. Alternative requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 36 months of experience in the job offered or closely related role. Position requires one year of experience in the following: Python Development; Pyspark, and Spark SQL; Developing Complex Dashboards using Power BI and Tableau; Enterprise software systems, including building cloud data lake platforms; Cloud service providers including, Azure (Data Factory, Synapse analytics, Databricks and Data Lake Storage) and Snowflake; Data Analytics using Databricks and Delta Lake; and Data Extraction, Transformation and Processing.
