Team Overview: 
Being a member of Aladdin Product means working with the best in the industry to build innovative products that shape financial markets. 

Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team works closely with developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to innovate, conceptualize, design and pilot new capabilities across the investment lifecycle.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in product management, business analysis, or client service, with a proven background in building and launching technology products in either B2B or B2C markets.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, scaling, and managing product lines to achieve market success.
  • Exceptional team player with strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
  • Strong commercial insight, able to set priorities and execute effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management or risk management processes is a plus.
  • Experience with municipal securities (“Munis”) or separately managed account (SMA) workflows is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be a subject matter expert of personas, workflows, and tools within the Portfolio Management
  • Influence teams across Aladdin to drive forward strategic product decisions
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of business, stakeholder and client needs
  • Gather, evaluate & define detailed product requirements and product specifications
  • Develop a strong understanding of competitors and industry trends
  • Deliver client outcomes working with a cross-functional team of other product managers, Engineering, QA. and UX
     

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$215,000.00 - USD$275,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
