Our Business Development Representative role is pivotal in expanding our footprint across Australia, particularly targeting large-value SMB merchants.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you'll identify prospective Square sellers, promote our ecosystem's value, and qualify opportunities for our Account Executive team. This entry-to-mid-level position offers hands-on sales experience in a high-growth fintech environment. Base locations include Sydney or Melbourne with flexible hybrid or work-from-home options.
Key focus areas include multi-channel outreach (social media, email, phone), merchant research, objection handling, and pipeline management using Salesforce. Ideal candidates thrive in data-driven outbound sales and have a genuine passion for helping Australian businesses scale.
